City offices

Over the years I have been very active in the Loves Park area. I have built relationships with other communities, their representative and organizations to ensure our City is being represented. I have taken an active role within our City and work to be accessible to those I represent.  If at anytime you have an issue please contact me by phone, e-mail or through on of the social media sites I set up to communicate with you.

I have lived in Loves Park nearly my entire life.  I grew-up here, my wife and I were married here and this is where we chose to raise our family.  I, like you, have a great stake in our city.  I care about Loves Park and those I represent. I will continue to act on your concerns and work to better our city when concerns are low.

There are many objectives I am currently working towards as well as the requests received by those I represent.  As Alderman, I work with local, state and federal leaders who contribute to this area. Building relationships is a key factor for Loves Park and its future.  It is essential to ensure our presence is known so that we are not forgotten and lose out on state, federal, private grant money or other needed support. I will continue to work on building stronger relationships to guarantee the best representation possible for our community.
As Loves Park grows, so does the responsibility of taking care of our city.  We need to balance city revenue to services offered while maintaining a surplus.  Loves Park must continue to work within its budget and attract new business to ensure our tax rates are lower than surrounding communities, thus easing the burden on our citizens and businesses.   We put in place the means to manage and ensure quality developmental growth, improve infrastructure needs and bring jobs and capital investment to our City, all while levying a “Zero Municipal Property Tax Rate”.  It is not easy… nothing of great value is... but we continue to be successful.

During my tenure on the Council, remarkable progress has been made and I want to “Continue the Progress”.  Much has been accomplished to protect our quality of life, but there is much more to be done.  I recommit to prioritizing issues of public safety, balanced growth, economic development and neighborhood revitalization.  As we map out how our City will evolve over the next 20 years, I’m committed to the principles of sensible growth and community input as critical guides for our common future.

As an active member of this community, I have served Loves Park and its citizens in many capacities. As I continue to serve this community, I look forward to your ongoing support. Together we can ensure Loves Park's future for us and our families.  Together, we can “Continue the Progress”.
